Original Seasoning Recipe

Combine an amazing seasoning with the proper cooking technique and you have perfection at your fingertips.

This recipe makes 4 burgers.

Dry IngredientAmount
Paprika1 tbsp
Light brown sugar1 tbsp
Salt1 tsp
Black pepper1 tsp
Garlic powder1 tsp
Dried Basil1/2 tsp
Crushed red pepper1/4 tsp
Dried minced onion (optional)2 tsp
Wet IngredientAmount
Soy sauce1 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce1 tbsp
  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a small bowl
  2. In a separate bowl, per 1 pound of meat, add 1 heaping tablespoon of dry mix and 1 tablespoon each of soy sauce and worcestershire sauce
  3. Store any remaining dry mix in an airtight container for up to 3 months

  1. Cut the package of bacon in half
  2. Pan fry the bacon 🥓 (use of a bacon press is highly recommended)

Pre-formed burger patties4, 1/3 lb patties

Cheddar cheese4 slices
Various other burger toppings-
  1. Pre-heat a skillet to medium heat
  2. Pre-heat a pan (that can be covered) to medium-high heat
  3. Drench the burger patties in the seasoning mixture
  4. Place the patties on the pre-heated skillet
  5. Cook for 4 minutes
  6. Flip the patties over, cook for 2 minutes
  7. Add the cheese, continue cooking for 1-2 minutes
  8. Using a digital thermometer, ensure that the center of the burgers reach 145°F

  1. Toast the buns while the burger is cooking
  2. Assemble the burger, breaking up the bacon into small-ish pieces before putting it directly on top of the cheese
  3. Add various other desired toppings
  4. Devour! 🍔
